Legal management of the assets of a child exercised by the parents

Nowadays children often become subjects of valuable objects or rights, whether as a result of success in various competitions or as result of inheritance. For this reason, the issue of the legal management of the children's assets is becoming increasingly important in practice. The analysis of doctrine and jurisprudence allows to conclude that the understanding of the term "legal management", as well as the classification of individual activities as ordinary management or exceeding the scope of ordinary management, is not adequate in relation to the management of child's assets by parents. The purpose of this study is an attempt to define the term "management" and to establish criteria supporting qualifying a given activity as falling within or exceeding the scope of ordinary management.
