Praca podejmuje temat widowisk Wielkiej Rewolucji Francuskiej okresu 1789-1794. Przedstawia czynniki wpływające na zmiany form widowisk teatralnych oraz opisuje wspomniane zmiany. Opisana jest formą teatru przedrewolucyjnego oraz dążeń do reform politycznych i teatralnych francuskich myślicieli takich jak Rousseau oraz Diderot. Praca prezentuje wybrane widowiska teatralne Wielkiej Rewolucji Francuskiej, będące odpowiednimi przykładami unikalnych tworów, istniejących tylko w tym okresie. Pod analizę została wybrana zarówno przestrzeń, jak i przebieg oraz idee widowisk.

The work deals with the spectacles of the Great French Revolution of the 1789-1794 period. It presents the factors affecting the formation of theatrical performances and describes the changes occurring in them. The form of pre-revolutionary theater and the aspirations for political and theatrical reforms of French thinkers such as Rousseau and Diderot are described. The work presents selected theatrical performances of the Great French Revolution, which are suitable examples of unique creations that exist only during this period. Both the space, the course of the spectacles and the ideas of the spectacles were selected for the analysis.
