Pre-Columbian artifacts are rarely found in Polish museum collections, and when they do appear, their provenance is often uncertain or undocumented. This article presents the results of macroscopic, microscopic, and archaeometric analyses of two stone objects held in the collection of the Stanisław Fischer Museum in Bochnia (Poland): a rock crystal pendant and a sculpture representing a human skull made of semi-nephrite. The study aimed to evaluate their authenticity, raw material characteristics, and possible cultural attribution. Although the precise provenance of the object cannot be fully established, the analyses strongly suggest its authenticity and highlight the significance of incorporating such isolated finds into ongoing discussions about material culture, trade, and craft traditions in the Indigenous Americas. This study contributes new data to the limited corpus of pre-Columbian artifacts documented in Polish institutions.

Los objetos precolombinos rara vez se encuentran en las colecciones de los museos polacos y, cuando aparecen, su procedencia suele ser incierta o carece de documentación. Este artículo presenta los resultados de los análisis macrospicos, microscópicos y arqueométricos realizados sobre dos objetos líticos conservados en la colección del Museo Stanisław Fischer en Bochnia (Polonia): un colgante de cristal de roca y una escultura que representa un cráneo humano elaborada en semi-nefrita. El objetivo del estudio fue evaluar su autenticidad, las características del material utilizado y su posible atribución cultural. Aunque la procedencia exacta del artefacto sigue sin poder establecerse con certeza, los análisis sugieren firmemente su autenticidad y destacan la importancia de incorporar este tipo de hallazgos aislados a las discusiones sobre cultura material, comercio y tradiciones artesanales en las sociedades indígenas americanas. Este estudio aporta nuevos datos al reducido corpus de artefactos precolombinos documentados en instituciones polacas.
