The next part of the paper provides a description of the phenomenon of terrorism and the description of the terrorist organization ETA. In this section we will also attempt to answer the question whether the Basque Country has the potential to become an independent country. The last chapter is a comparative analysis of the Basque Country with other regions with separatist aspirations.
