Information behaviour of users of Internet forums on mountain issues.

Tematem pracy licencjackiej są zachowania informacyjne użytkowników forów internetowych o tematyce górskiej. Celem niniejszej pracy licencjackiej jest próba zanalizowania i zdefiniowania zachowań informacyjnych użytkowników forów internetowych o tematyce górskiej. Praca została podzielona na dwie części: teoretyczną i praktyczną. Część teoretyczna stanowi próbę wyjaśnienia pojęć zachowań informacyjnych, użytkowników informacji oraz forów internetowych/grup dyskusyjnych. Przybliżone zostały również modele: pozyskiwania informacji w życiu codziennym, zbierania informacji oraz strategii informacyjnych. W części praktycznej analizie zostały poddane fora/grupy internetowe dotyczące obszaru gór Tatr oraz Beskidów. Za pomocą Internetu oraz metody własnych obserwacji przeprowadzono badanie ankietowe, aby zidentyfikować zachowania i potrzeby informacyjne użytkowników forów internetowych o tematyce górskiej. Autorka pracy przedstawiła wyniki badań przeprowadzonych na grupach internetowych o tematyce górskiej, które są odpowiedzią na postawione pytania badawcze.

The topic of this Bachelor Thesis is devoted to Information Behaviour of users of Internet forums on mountain issues. The purpose of this study is to analyse and define information behaviour of Internet forums which deal with the mountain issues. The project is divided into two sections: theoretical and practical. The first one introduces and tries to define the core concepts of the thesis, that is information behavior, information user and Internet forum/group. It also presents the models of information seeking, information gathering and information strategies. The practical part of the thesis inquires into Internet forums of the Tatras and the Beskidy Mountains. The study has been carried out both with the use of the Internet survey and on the basis of the author’s own observation. Its main purpose is to identify information behavior and needs of users of the Internet forums on mountain issues. The author of this research presents the answers to the thesis in the final part of the project.
