The artice conteins a comparison between Andrzej Sapkowski's "Trylogia husycka" and the lates historiografical reflection. The author discusses the world-building side of the work and places it in a wider context of reserch on fantasy. The author also consideres the meannig of intertextuality of the cycle and a historical discourse.
