Analysis ratio of enterprises on the basis of building trade

Celem pracy jest przedstawienie kondycji branży budowlanej na podstawie analizy spółek Budimex S.A. oraz Mostostal Warszawa S.A. uwzględniając przy przeprowadzanej analizie wpływ kryzysu na branżę budowlaną. Sektor budowlany jest niezwykle podatny na zmianę sytuacji gospodarczej. Kryzys finansowy w 2007 roku spowodował spowolnienie na polskim rynku budowlanym. Rozdział pierwszy definiuje i charakteryzuje analizę finansową, a także kierunki i zasady analizy wskaźnikowej. Rozdział drugi prezentuje klasyfikację wskaźników finansowych na wskaźniki płynności finansowej, wypłacalności długoterminowej, sprawności działania, a także rentowności. W trzeciej części pracy omówiono zasady oceny wskaźników finansowych uwzględniając ich systemy oraz metody porównywania. Rozdział czwarty prezentuje wskaźnikową analizę sytuacji finansowej dwóch spółek z branży budowlanej, w tym Budimex S.A. oraz Mostostal Warszawa S.A. Organizacja Euro 2012 w Polsce miała spowodować rozkwit branży budowlanej, jednak okazało się, iż były to nieuzasadnione prognozy. Firmy branży budowlanej odnotowały znacznie gorsze wyniki finansowe w następstwie przygotowań infrastruktury pod Euro 2012.

The aim of this thesis is to present the condition of building trade on the basis of the analysis of the companies Budimex S.A. and Mostostal Warszawa S.A. the influence of the crisis in the building trade was taken into consideration as well. This area of business is susceptible to changing economic situation. That is the reason why the building sector in Poland has decelerated since the financial crisis in 2007. In the first chapter of this diploma paper, the financial analysis as well as directions and standards of ratio analysis are specified and characterized. The second chapter presents the categorization of financial indicators, liquidity ratios, long term solvency, efficiency, and rate of return. In the next chapter, the evaluation standards of financial ratios were discussed. The systems and methods of financial ratios were also taken into account. Following that ratio analysis of financial situation was conducted in the two companies. The influence of the organization of Euro 2012 in Poland was expected to accelerate the financial situation in the building trade, however, this forecast was unjustified. The decrease in financial results of the firms from the building sector was noted due to the preparation of infrastructure for Euro 2012 tournament.
