The influence on establishment the Act from the 8th of September 2006 regarding the National Ambulance Service to functioning of Cracow Ambulance Service

W niniejszej pracy dokonano przeglądu literatury dotyczącej Ustawy z dnia 8 września 2006 r. o Państwowym Ratownictwie Medycznym oraz zaprezentowano konsekwencje wejścia w życie wyżej wymienionego aktu prawnego na funkcjonowanie Krakowskiego Pogotowia Ratunkowego. Dokonano analizy otoczenia, w jakim funkcjonuje KPR oraz zaprezentowano zapisy ustawy, które wpłynęły na zmiany w funkcjonowaniu jednostek pogotowia ratunkowego. Wykorzystane prace przeglądowe, poglądowe, badawcze oraz akty prawne zostały wyszukane za pomocą baz: Medline, Pubmed oraz Cochrane Library. Dodatkowo wykorzystano zbiory następujących instytucji: Biblioteka Instytutu Zdrowia Publicznego CM UJ, Biblioteka Medyczna Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskiego, Biblioteka Instytutu Pielęgniarstwa i Położnictwa CM UJ oraz Biblioteka Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego.

The purpose of this paper is to review the details of the Act from the 8th of September 2006 regarding the National Ambulance Service. It presents the influence that its establishment have had on the Cracow Ambulance Service. It depicts the analysis of environment on its area of activity and shows how the Act altered the effectiveness of the Ambulance Services. Reviews, illustrative, legislative acts used in this paper have been found through databases: Medline, Pubmed and Corchane Library. Materials from the following resources have been also used: The Library of Public Health Institute on Jagiellonian University, Medical Library on Jagiellonian University, Library of Nursing Institute on Jagiellonian University, Library of Warsaw University.
