Niniejsza praca zatytułowana: „Obraz wspinaczki wysokogórskiej w filmie dokumentalnym i fabularnym na wybranych przykładach” porównuje te dwa rodzaje filmu i ukazuje jak i czym różni się przedstawiona w nich wspinaczka wysokogórska. Szczegółowo opisane sceny z wybranych dwóch filmów dokumentalnych, które pojawiają się w dalszej części pracy pokazują autentyczny obraz tego, co dzieje się podczas ekspedycji w Himalaje. Opis kolejnych dwóch filmów fabularnych przedstawia znacznie odbiegający od rzeczywistości obraz wypraw wysokogórskich.
The picture of mountain climbing on selected examples of documentary and fictional films compares two kinds of film adaptations and reveals the differences between the depiction of mountain climbing in the film industry. The documentary film movie scenes are described in great detail and reveal the true picture of events taking place during Himalayan expeditions. The description of fictional movies introduces images that vary from the reality of mountain climbing.
