Poniższe opracowanie dotyczy życia codziennego XIX wiecznej wsi galicyjskiej. Praca została oparta przede wszystkim na pamiętnikach chłopskich, spisanych pod koniec XIX oraz na początku XX wieku. Dużą rolę w opisie codzienności wybranego regionu, spełniły opracowania dotyczące tej tematyki oraz monografie. Praca opatrzona została w fotografie wykonane w Sądeckim Parku Etnograficznym.Zagadnienia podjęte w pracy obejmują XIX wiek, jednak badania skupiają się głównie na okresie połowy tegoż wieku. Praca obejmuje szeroki zakres zagadnień z życia codziennego wsi. Składa się ona z trzech rozdziałów. Pierwszy traktuje o rodzinie chłopskiej, opisuje jej sytuację materialną oraz wzajemne relacje. Rozdział drugi przedstawia metody uprawy roli oraz hodowli zwierząt, stanowi jednocześnie przegląd ówczesnych stosunków społecznych. W rozdziale trzecim, głównym tematem jest mentalność mieszkańców wsi, edukacja, wiara i stosunki z dworem.

This paper concerns the everyday life of inhabitants of the nineteenth century Galician village. The study, above all, was based on the memoirs of peasants, written in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century. A great role in the description of the everyday life of the region fulfill studies on this subject and monographs. The essay is filled with photographs taken in Sądecki Ethnographic Park. Issues described in this study took place in the nineteenth century, however research was focused mainly on the mid-term of the century. The paper covers a wide range of issues of everyday village life. It consists of three chapters. The first is about a peasant family, it describes the financial situation and relationships among members of the household. The second chapter presents methods of cultivation and animal breeding at that time and is also a review of a contemporary social relations. In the third chapter, the main theme is the mentality of the population, education, faith and relationship with the court.
