Creative Writing in Polish Language Education (Grades 7–8)

Praca dotyczy wybranych aspektów twórczego pisania, w tym jego funkcjonowania w edukacji polonistycznej w klasach 7–8 szkoły podstawowej. Jej celem jest ukazanie, w jaki sposób twórcze pisanie może wspierać rozwój kompetencji językowych, literackich i osobistych uczniów, odpowiadając na potrzeby współczesnej szkoły. Omawiane są zarówno teoretyczne podstawy creative writing, jak i praktyczne możliwości wdrażania tej metody w polskim systemie oświaty. Wskazano tu istniejące bariery w stosowaniu tej metody oraz możliwe kierunki dalszych działań na rzecz jej upowszechnienia. Praca zawiera także wyniki badania dotyczącego postaw przyszłych nauczycieli wobec twórczego pisania oraz autorskie propozycje dydaktyczne do wykorzystania w pracy z uczniami.

This thesis examines selected aspects of creative writing, including its role in Polish language education in grades 7–8 of primary school. Its aim is to show how creative writing can support the development of students' linguistic, literary, and personal competencies, addressing the needs of contemporary education. The study discusses both the theoretical foundations of creative writing and the practical possibilities for implementing this method within the Polish educational system. It also identifies existing barriers to its application and outlines potential directions for further development and dissemination. The thesis includes the results of a study on the attitudes of future teachers towards creative writing, as well as original teaching proposals for use in the classroom.
