The inventory of instruments in Persian traditional music

Muzyka towarzyszyła ludziom od czasów najdawniejszych. Wraz z pojawieniem się człowieka zaczęły powstawać pierwsze instrumenty, które podlegając przez wieki modyfikacjom, przybierały rozmaite formy, aby wreszcie osiągnąć kształt obecny. Głównym celem pracy jest przede wszystkim charakterystyka instrumentów cechujących tradycyjną muzykę perską, która zawiera opis ich wyglądu, proporcji, technik gry, ale także informacje o pochodzeniu i ich roli w środowisku muzycznym. Gra na instrumentach zagrzewała do walki, stanowiła tło do recytacji poezji, wprowadzała w stan ekstazy, towarzyszyła rozmaitym uroczystościom czy obrzędom. Ponadto w pracy zostało omówione zagadnienie tradycyjnej muzyki perskiej i jej elementu podstawowego, którym jest radif – zbiór melodii, sklasyfikowanych i uszeregowanych według dwunastu systemów tonalnych.

Music has accompanied people from the beginning of times. With the first existence of the human beings came first pieces of instruments, which with time have gone through major modifications, therefore providing new shapes and sounds in order to get to where they are now. The main focus is the characteristic of the instruments played in the Persian traditional music, which contains the description of their shape, proportion and technique, as well as the information about their origin and role in the musical community. Playing on instruments has encouraged people to fight, provided background for poetic recitals, lead people into states of high ecstasy, and accompanied many celebrations and rituals. Moreover, the thesis presents general information about Persian traditional music and its basic element: radif which is a collection of melodies classified and set by 12 tonal systems.
