Marketing marek luksusowych – strategie budowania prestiżu i ekskluzywności
Luxury brand marketing – strategies for building prestige and exclusivity
Cichy marketing, dobra luksusowe, rynek chiński, reguła niedostępności,strategia niedoboru
Quiet marketing, luxury goods, Chinese market, scarcity principle, scarcity strategy
Niniejsza praca analizuje strategię „cichego marketingu” (quiet marketing) oraz zarządzania kontrolowaną dostępnością w sektorze dóbr luksusowych, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem rynku chińskiego. W dobie cyfryzacji i przesytu reklamą tradycyjne narzędzia tracą skuteczność. Wyniki potwierdziły, że brak masowej reklamy i reglamentacja podaży stymulują popyt, a nabywcy przedkładają kapitał statusowy nad kontrowersje produkcyjne („Made in Italy/France”).Analiza rynku chińskiego wykazała ewolucję zaufania w stronę selektywnej lojalności, gdzie luksus stanowi centralny kod tożsamości społecznej. Praca formułuje wnioski menedżerskie i wskazuje kierunki dalszych badań rynku wtórnego.
This thesis analyzes the "quiet marketing" strategy and controlled availability management within the luxury goods sector, with a specific focus on the Chinese market. In the era of digitization and advertising fatigue, traditional marketing tools lose their effectiveness. The objective of this study was to investigate how the rejection of ostentation and the creation of purchasing barriers influence brand positioning and the perception of prestige. It was hypothesized that consumer trust in this segment is highly symbolic and emotional, allowing brands to absorb supply chain image crises. The theoretical framework is grounded in P. Bourdieu's theory of distinction and R. Cialdini's scarcity principle. The empirical part comprises a strategic analysis of market leaders (Hermès, Loro Piana, Bvlgari) and netnographic research on consumer opinions. The findings confirmed that the lack of mass advertising and supply rationing stimulate demand, while buyers prioritize status capital over production controversies ("Made in Italy/France"). The analysis of the Chinese market revealed an evolution of trust toward selective loyalty, where luxury serves as a central code of social identity. The paper formulates managerial implications and outlines future secondary market research.
