Shaping the image of Poland in the government electronic media of Belarus in 2020-2023

Niniejsza praca dotyczy sposobu opisywania przez białoruskie media prorządowe sytuacji w Polsce. Składa się z trzech rozdziałów. Zadaniem dwóch pierwszych jest nadanie białoruskiej narracji odpowiedniego kontekstu. Pierwszy z nich opisuje krótko historię relacji polsko-białoruskich po rozpadzie Związku Radzieckiego, natomiast drugi skupia się na aktualnej sytuacji mediów na Białorusi. W ostatnim, trzecim rozdziale autor bada, jak zmieniała się narracja białoruskich mediów na temat Polski w kolejnych fazach kryzysu relacyjnego pomiędzy oboma państwami – od wyborów prezydenckich na Białorusi z 2020 roku, przez rozpoczęcie kryzysu migracyjnego na polsko-białoruskiej granicy aż po wybuch wojny na Ukrainie

This thesis deals with the way in which Belarusian pro-government media describe the situation in Poland. It consists of three chapters. The task of the first two is to give the Belarusian narrative an appropriate context. The first briefly describes the history of Polish-Belarusian relations after the collapse of the Soviet Union, while the second focuses on the current situation of the media in Belarus. In the final, third chapter, the author examines how the narrative of the Belarusian media on Poland has changed during the successive phases of the relational crisis between the two countries - from the 2020 presidential elections in Belarus, through the start of the migration crisis on the Polish-Belarusian border to the outbreak of war in Ukraine
