W prezentowanej pracy omówiony został problem choroby psychicznej, podjęty przez Ivanę Dobrakovovą w powieści Bellevue. Autorka skupiła się na przedstawieniu wewnętrznych przeżyć głównej bohaterki, która choruje na depresję. Opisała przebieg choroby, z wyszczególnieniem występujących symptomów, które nasilają się wraz z rozwojem akcji utworu. W pracy przedstawiona została charakterystyka twórczości Dobrakovovej, jej inspiracje twórcze oraz wykorzystywane motywy. Dalsze części składają się z interpretacji powieści Bellevue; wyróżnione zostały najważniejsze aspekty związane z chorobą, takie jak możliwe jej przyczyny, przebieg oraz pojawiające się symptomy.

The presented thesis discusses the problem of mental illness, undertaken by Ivana Dobrakovová in the novel Bellevue. The author focused on presenting the internal experiences of the main character who suffers from depression. She described the course of the disease, detailing the symptoms that increase with the development of the text action. The thesis presents the characteristics of Dobrakovová's work, her creative inspirations and motives used. Further parts consist of interpretations of the Bellevue novel; the most important aspects related to the disease were highlighted, such as its possible causes, course and symptoms.
