This year marks the 110th anniversary of the death of Helena Modjeska. It is a worth moment to ask anew how to disseminate and preserve the memory of such a significant actress. The main purpose of this bachelor is to present, document and supplement the latest research on the artistic work of Helena Modjeska from provincial theatre to first stage debut in Cracow Theatre. It aims to discuss the least known period of her life, covering the first years of activity on the amateur scene (1861-1865).
