Niniejsza praca dyplomowa skupia się na analizie kontynuacji wyścigu jądrowego od początków Zimnej Wojny do współczesności oraz jego wpływu na dzisiejsze stosunki międzynarodowe. W pracy tej rozpatrywane są kluczowe wydarzenia i tendencje w historii, które doprowadziły do narastającej rywalizacji między Stanami Zjednoczonymi a Związkiem Sowieckim, a także do dzisiejszej sytuacji, w której nuklearne arsenały są nadal istotnym elementem geopolityki światowej.Rozdział 1 skupia się na znaczeniu współpracy sowiecko-amerykańskiej w ramach koalicji antyhitlerowskiej podczas II wojny światowej. Analizowane są różne aspekty tej współpracy, w tym zarówno aspekty dyplomatyczne, jak i wojskowe.Rozdział 2 opisuje okres od zakończenia II wojny światowej do narodzin Zimnej Wojny. Omawia się sposoby współpracy między Stanami Zjednoczonymi, Wielką Brytanią a Związkiem Sowieckim oraz tworzenie nowego porządku światowego.Rozdział 3 koncentruje się na początkowym etapie Zimnej Wojny i początkach wyścigu jądrowego. Przedstawione są nowe tendencje w stosunkach międzynarodowych po II wojnie światowej oraz rozwój broni jądrowej i jego wpływ na globalne napięcia.Rozdział 4 kontynuuje analizę wyścigu jądrowego, skupiając się na okresie od lat 60. do końca Zimnej Wojny. Opisuje "odprężenie", którym charakteryzowały się lata 1962-1979, dalszy rozwój konfliktu oraz jego zakończenie w latach 1987-1991.Rozdział 5 analizuje konsekwencje wyścigu jądrowego i zakończenia Zimnej Wojny oraz nową konfrontację, która pojawiła się w stosunkach międzynarodowych. Przedstawia się również obecny stan stosunków amerykańsko-rosyjskich i amerykańsko-chińskich oraz koncepcję nowej Zimnej Wojny.Wnioski z każdego rozdziału pozwalają na lepsze zrozumienie zmian w stosunkach międzynarodowych oraz kontynuacji wyścigu jądrowego w kontekście przeszłości, teraźniejszości i przyszłości.

This dissertation focuses on analyzing the continuation of the nuclear arms race from the beginning of the Cold War to the present day and its impact on current international relations. The dissertation examines key events and trends in history that led to the escalating rivalry between the United States and the Soviet Union, as well as to the current situation where nuclear arsenals remain a significant element of global geopolitics.Chapter 1 discusses the significance of Soviet-American cooperation within the anti-Hitler coalition during World War II. Various aspects of this cooperation, including diplomatic and military aspects, are analyzed.Chapter 2 describes the period from the end of World War II to the onset of the Cold War. It discusses the ways of cooperation between the United States, Great Britain, and the Soviet Union, as well as the establishment of a new world order.Chapter 3 focuses on the initial stage of the Cold War and the beginnings of the nuclear arms race. New trends in international relations after World War II and the development of nuclear weapons and their impact on global tensions are presented.Chapter 4 continues the analysis of the nuclear arms race, focusing on the period from the 1960s to the end of the Cold War. It describes the "détente" period of the 1962-1979, further development of the conflict, and its conclusion in the late 1987-1991.Chapter 5 examines the consequences of the nuclear arms race and the end of the Cold War, as well as the new confrontation that emerged in international relations. It also presents the current state of US-Russian and US-Chinese relations and the concept of a new Cold War.The conclusions drawn from each chapter allow for a better understanding of the changes in international relations and the continuation of the nuclear arms race in the context of the past, present, and future.
