Climate Education in the Training of Preschool and Early School Education Pedagogues

Tytuł mojej pracy napisanej pod kierunkiem dr. hab. Anny Sajdak -Burskiej prof. UJ brzmi: edukacja klimatyczna i jej miejsce w kształceniu studentów pedagogiki przedszkolnej i wczesnoszkolnej. Jej celem jest zbadanie wiedzy studentów z zakresu klimatu oraz edukacji klimatycznej, a także wyodrębnienie treści edukacji klimatycznej oraz stworzenie projektu edukacyjnego. W pracy zawarłam odpowiedź na pytanie główne: jak może wyglądać projekt kształcenia do przeprowadzania edukacji klimatycznej dla studentów pedagogiki przedszkolnej i wczesnoszkolnej Instytutu Pedagogiki Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskiego? W części teoretycznej zostały przedstawione zagadnienia dotyczące klimatu, edukacji klimatycznej, a także edukacji obszarowo powiązanych z prezentowanym tematem. W części empirycznej umieściłam wyniki badań, z których wyodrębnione zostały cele, efekty kształcenia, treści, materiały oraz środki przydatne w przeprowadzeniu lekcji z zakresu edukacji klimatycznej.

The title of my thesis, written under the supervision of Dr. Anna Sajdak-Burska, Professor at the Jagiellonian University, is "Climate Education in the Training of Preschool and Early School Education Pedagogues”. Its aim is to investigate students' knowledge of climate and climate education, as well as to identify the content of climate education and create an educational project. The thesis provides an answer to the main question: what could a training project for conducting climate education for students of the Preschool and Early School Education program at the Institute of Pedagogy of the Jagiellonian University look like? The theoretical part presents concepts related to climate, climate education, and education areas related to the presented topic. The empirical part contains the results of research, from which the goals, effects of education, content, materials, and resources useful for conducting climate education lessons have been extracted.
