Preservation of folk traditions by Inna Szkoła Teatralna, organised by Węgajty Theater

Przedmiotem niniejszej pracy jest zjawisko utrwalania dawnych tradycji ludowych na przykładzie projektu Inna Szkoła Teatralna, organizowanego przez Teatr Węgajty. Badania przeprowadzone zostały w oparciu o metodę etnografii oraz studium przypadku. Temat pracy wpisuje się w obszar refleksji o zarządzaniu humanistycznym. Porusza problematykę zarządzania dziedzictwem, w kontekście ochrony i pielęgnowania tradycji i obyczajów ludowych. Głównym celem pracy było zbadanie czy praktyki podejmowane przez Teatr Węgajty, przyczyniają się do utrwalania tradycji ludowych. W pierwszym rozdziale utworzone zostaje podłoże teoretyczne do późniejszych rozważań. Rozdział metodologiczny jest omówieniem procesu badawczego, ze wskazaniem i wyjaśnieniem użytych metod, narzędzi oraz paradygmatów. W trzecim rozdziale znajduje się odpowiedź na pytanie dlaczego projekt Innej Szkoły Teatralnej uznać można za przykład działań związanych z zarządzaniem dziedzictwem kulturowym. Zebrany materiał poddany zostaje szczegółowej analizie oraz interpretacji. W ostatniej części prezentowane są wnioski końcowe oraz podsumowanie całej pracy.

The main subject of this work is the phenomenon of preserving folk culture and some specific traditions on the example of the Inna Szkoła Teatralna project, organized by the Węgajty Theater. The research has been made while taking part in the aforementioned workshops, using the case study and ethnographic metod. The subject of the thesis is bound up with the humanistic management. It discusses the problems of heritage management in the context of saving and protection of traditions and folk customs. The main goal of this work was to examine whether the actions undertaken by the Węgajty Theater contribute to the consolidation of folk traditions. In the first chapter a theoretical background is created. The methodological chapter is focused on the research process, with an indication and explanation of the methods, tools and paradigms used. In the third chapter there is an explaination why the Inna Szkoła Teatralna project is considered to be an example of practices related to the cultural heritage management. The collected material is subject to detailed analysis and interpretation. The last part contains the results of research and a summary of the whole work.
