Kłosy pod sierpem twoim (biał. Каласы пад сярпом тваiм) to pierwsza białoruska powieść historyczna, napisana przez U. Karatkiewicza w latach 1962-1964. Leśnik M. Kuncewiczowej, pisany w latach 1939-1940, jest głęboko psychologiczna powieścią na temat historycznego życia byłych kresów Polski. Celem niniejszej pracy jest zbadanie realizacji idei narodowych w literaturze Białorusi i Polski, porównanie problematyki i zwrócenie uwagi na ideowe pozycje, które zajmują sami autorzy.Pierwszy rozdział zawiera kontekst biograficzny U. Karatkiewicza oraz historię powstania i tematykę utworu Kłosy pod sierpem twoim.Drugi rozdział jest skupiony na przedstawieniu kontekstu biograficznego M. Kuncewiczowej i również uruchamia historię powstania i tematykę utworu Leśnik. W rozdziale trzecim porównuję obraz głównego bohatera w utworach U. Karatkiewicza Kłosy pod sierpem twoim i M. Kuncewiczowej Leśnik, zwracając szczególną uwagę na sposób realizacji monomitu podróży bohatera w wymienionych utworach. The ears under your sickle (bel. Каласы пад сярпом тваiм) is the first Belarusian historical novel, written by U. Karatkevich in the years 1962-1964. The Forester (pol. Leśnik) by M. Kuntsevich, written in the years 1939-1940, is a deeply psychological novel about the historical life of the former Poland’s territory on the east. The aim of this work is to examine the implementation of national ideas in the literature of Belarus and Poland, compare the issues and draw attention to the ideological positions that are represented by the authors.The first chapter contains the biographical context of U. Karatkevich, history about how and when The ears under your sickle was written as well as main themes of the work.The second chapter is focused on presenting the biographical context of M. Kuntsevich, contents history about how and when The Forester was written as well as main themes of the work.In the third chapter, I compare the representation of the main characters of the novels The ears under your sickle and The Forester, paying special attention to the way of representation the monomit of the hero's journey in the above-mentioned novels. The chapter ends with a summary in which the conclusions of the comparative analysis are made.In the fourth chapter, I analyzes the manner of implementing the theme of the January Uprising in the novels The ears under your sickle and The Forester, especially focusing on the mythical functions that the above-mentioned uprising performs in the works.
