Celem pracy jest próba prognozy, jak czwarta rewolucja przemysłowa wpłynie na rynek pracy. Pierwszy rozdział przedstawia jak wyglądały poprzednie rewolucje przemysłowe. W drugim rozdziale autor stara się zdefiniować czwartą rewolucję przemysłową, przestawić jej najistotniejsze pola oddziaływania oraz konsekwencje dla ludzi, rządów oraz biznesu. Ostatnia część to ukazanie wpływu wybranych megatrendów na zatrudnienie oraz analiza raportu World Economic Forum „Future of Jobs”, oraz pracy dwóch naukowców z Uniwersytetu Oxford Carla Osborne’a i Michaela Frey'a z 2013 r. pt. „The future of empolyment: how to susceptible are jobs to computerisation”.
The aim of the study is try to predict how the fourth industrial revolution will affect the labour market. The first chapter presents what previous industrial revolutions looked like. In the second chapter, the author tries to define the fourth industrial revolution, present its most important fields of influence and consequences for people, governments and business. The last part is showing the impact of selected megatrends on employment and the analysis of the World Economic Forum report "Future of Jobs", and the work of two scientists from Oxford University Carl Osborne and Michael Frey from 2013 entitled "The future of empolyment: how to susceptible are jobs to computerization."
