Niniejsza praca ma na celu dostrzeżenie wpływu niesionego przez proces cyborgizacji na współczesne pole walki. Autor poddaje analizie podwaliny teoretyczne i historyczne doskonalenia technologicznego żołnierza. Następnie przytacza i opisuje kilka najbardziej znaczących badań i projektów prowadzonych przez naukowców na rzecz wojsk amerykańskich. Ostatni rozdział traktuje o wpływie cyborgizacji na dwa najważniejsze aspekty pola walki - funkcjonowanie sił zbrojnych oraz problemy prawno-etyczne.
This work seeks to perceive the impact of cyborgization on the contemporary battlefield. The author analyses the theoretical and historical foundations of the technological development of the soldier. Then, she cites and describes some of the most significant research projects conducted by scientists for the American military. The last chapter deals with the impact of cyborgization on the two most important aspects of the battlefield - the functioning of the armed forces and the legal and ethical problems.
