Surrogacy in Ukraine

Praca przedstawia zagadnienie surogacji na Ukrainie. Jej celem było opisanie tego zjawiska poprzez definicję, przepisy prawne, zasady procedury i rolę stron. Zaprezentowano stanowisko etyki i religii w sprawie surogacji. Przedstawiono problemy macierzyństwa zastępczego podczas pandemii i wojny. Dla zrealizowania celu pracy dokonano przeglądu informacji na temat surogacji w oparciu o źródła: prace naukowe, reportaż literacki, film dokumentalny oraz artykuły, wywiady i filmy dostępne w serwisach internetowych. Część opisana została dopełniona przedstawieniem przykładów indywidualnych historii surogatek, rodziców i dzieci.

The thesis presents the issue of surrogacy in Ukraine. The purpose was to describe this phenomenon through definition, law regulations, rules of procedure and the role of the parts of this process. It was presented the opinion of ethics and religion on surrogacy. The problems of surrogacy during the pandemic and war are also described. In order to achieve the aim of the thesis, information on surrogacy was reviewed based on the following sources: scientific articles, literary reportage, documentary film as well as articles, interviews and films available on websites. The described part was complemented with the presentation of examples of individual stories of surrogates, parents and children.
