Praca ma na celu konstelacyjne prześledzenie głosów krytycznych dotyczących dwóch powszechnie znanych amerykańskich powieści: ,,Małych kobietek'' Louisy May Alcott oraz ,,Przeminęło z wiatrem'' Margaret Mitchell. Tekst został podzielony na trzy części tematyczne: konteksty obu powieści wraz ze wskazaniem na różnice kulturowe Południa i Północy Stanów Zjednoczonych Ameryki, odczytania autobiograficzne skupiające się wokół przestrzeni i rodzin autorek oraz recepcję, której autorzy zwracają szczególną uwagę na kwestie rasowe.

This work's objective is to showcase a constellation look at the critical voices surrounding two popular american novels: ''Little Women'' by Louisa May Alcott and ''Gone with the Wind'' by Margaret Mitchell. It has been divided into three parts: first is about describing the background of the books, as well as different areas of the USA both of their authors come from; second analyses autobiographical reception, and the last one consists of the responses that connect with the issues of racism and race in general.
