Celem pracy jest zbadanie sposobu, w jaki współczesne kino superbohaterskie przedstawia męskość swoich bohaterów. Autor analizuje Thora i Kapitana Amerykę z filmowego uniwersum Marvela. Studium przypadku i analiza wybranych scen umożliwiają przeanalizowanie wpływu tych postaci na emocjonalność i dobrostan mężczyzn. Praca udowadnia, że filmy Marvela mogą i powinny promować zdrowsze i inkluzywne podejście do męskości.
The aim of this thesis is to examine how contemporary superhero cinema portrays the masculinity of its heroes. The author focuses on Thor and Captain America from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Through case studies and analysis of selected scenes, the research investigates the impact of these characters on men's emotionality and well-being. The thesis demonstrates that Marvel movies can and should promote a healthier and more inclusive approach to masculinity.
