Celem niniejszej pracy jest analiza dyskursu, który miał miejsce w Stanach Zjednoczonych w latach 80. XX wieku wśród feministów - tzw. Sex Wars. Dotyczyła ona wszelakich przejawów i form seksualności. W tej pracy analizowana jest część dyskursu poświęcona prostytucji. W ramach Sex Wars wytworzyły się dwa nurty - pro-sex oraz anti-sex, z których pierwszy popierał i bronił dobrowolną prostytucję, a drugi był jej przeciwny. W pracy dokonano analizy całego konfliktu oraz postulatów obu stron.
The purpose of this thesis is to analyze discourse that took place in United States in 1980s among the feminists - the Sex Wars. It was linked to various manifestations and forms of sexuality. The part of the discours analyzed in this thesis is prostitution. During the Sex Wars two main stances emerged - pro-sex and anti-sex. First of them agrees and defends sex work, as long as it is a choice of a women. The other side of the confilict was against any form of prostitution. In this thesis both sides of the discourse were analyzed, as well as the Sex Wars conflict in general.
