Organisation of the Karpackie Klimaty festival as a result of the transfrontier co-operation in Krosno

Tematem pracy jest analiza festiwalu Karpackie Klimaty jako efektu współpracy euroregionalnej w Krośnie. Główny cel pracy stanowiło poparcie hipotezy, iż festiwal Karpackie Klimaty odgrywa istotną rolę w promocji Krosna, a w szerszym kontekście kultury i tradycji całego Euroregionu Karpackiego, impreza jest także doskonałą okazją do integracji mieszkańców miasta z turystami przyjeżdżającymi do Krosna z pozostałych państw wchodzących w skład euroregionu. W celu sformułowania niezbędnych wniosków, w pracy przedstawiono genezę oraz ideę współpracy transgranicznej, zwracając przy tym uwagę na znaczenie struktury, jaka jest euroregion. Następnie opisano zasady funkcjonowania euroregionów na terenie Polski, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem Euroregionu Karpackiego, przybliżono także profil miasta Krosna oraz Regionalnego Centrum Kultur Pogranicza. Ostatni krok stanowiła analiza samego festiwalu. Przegląd literatury przedmiotu i materiałów dostępnych w Internecie potwierdza przyjętą hipotezę.

The subject of this thesis is an analysis of the Karpackie Klimaty festival as a result of the transfrontier co-operation in Krosno. The main aim of this thesis is to justify the hypothesis that the Karpackie Klimaty festival plays an important role in the promotion of culture and tradition connected with Krosno and Carpathian Euroregion, it is also a perfect opportunity to integration between the residents of Krosno and tourists from other Carpathian Euroregion's countries. In the first chapter of this thesis are included information about the origin and idea of the transfrontier co-operation and euroregions. Subsequently, in this text is description of euroregions in Poland and the profile of Krosno and Regionalne Centrum Kultur Pogranicza which are the main organisers of this festival. Afterwards there is the extensive analysis of the Karpackie Klimaty festival. The study of literature and materials on the Internet confirmed assumed hypothesis.
