Factors influencing the socio-economic development of the municipality of Kłobuck

Praca magisterska podejmuje temat czynników rozwoju społeczno-gospodarczego Gminy Kłobuck, analizując je w ujęciu teoretycznym, historycznym oraz empirycznym. Celem badania jest identyfikacja i ocena znaczenia elementów endogenicznych oraz egzogenicznych kształtujących potencjał rozwojowy gminy. Pierwsza część pracy przedstawia podstawy teoretyczne pojęcia rozwoju oraz klasyfikację czynników z ich podziałem na zewnętrzne i wewnętrzne. W części drugiej zaprezentowano historyczne uwarunkowania rozwoju Kłobucka zarówno w okresie przed lokacją miasta, w czasach jego rozkwitu, a później również upadku, aż po okres transformacji XX wieku. Analiza czynników egzogenicznych obejmuje położenie i dostępność komunikacyjną, powiązania komunikacyjne z Częstochową, inwestycje zewnętrze, napływ kapitału oraz wpływ polityki regionalnej i funduszy unijnych. Wśród czynników endogenicznych analizą objęto kapitał ludzki i społeczny, atrakcyjność mieszkaniową, infrastrukturę techniczną i komunikacyjną, a także strukturę gospodarki i rynku zbytu. Istotnym elementem pracy jest badanie opinii kluczowych interesariuszy, przedstawicieli samorządu oraz przedsiębiorców, oraz analiza treści pracy lokalnej, które pozwalają zidentyfikować postrzeganie najważniejszych atutów i barier rozwoju w oczach społeczności lokalnej. W podsumowaniu wskazano na synergiczne działania czynników zewnętrznych i wewnętrznych na rozwój Gminy Kłobuck. Zaznaczono również kluczowe znaczenie dostępności transportowej, aktywności inwestycyjnej oraz kapitału ludzkiego i społecznego. Wyniki mogą stanowić podstawę do formułowania strategii rozwoju lokalnego opartej na wzmacnianiu mocnych stron gminy i minimalizowaniu istniejących ograniczeń.

This master’s thesis addresses the issue of factors influencing the socio-economic development of the Kłobuck Municipality, analysing them form theoretical, historical and empirical perspectives. The aim of the study is to identify and assess the significance of both endogenous and exogenous elements shaping the municipality’s development potential. The first part of the thesis presents the theoretical foundations of the concept of development and provides a classification of factors, dividing them into external and internal categories. The second part outlines the historical determinants of Kłobuck’s development, covering the period prior to the town’s location charter, its era of prosperity, subsequent decline and the transformations of the 20th century. The analysis of exogenous factors includes location and transport accessibility, transport links with Częstochowa, external investments, capital inflows, and the impact of regional policy and EU funds. Among endogenous factors, the analysis covers human and social capital, residential attractiveness, technical and transport infrastructure, as well as the structure of the economy and the market. An important element of the work is the survey of key stakeholders, local government representatives, and entrepreneurs, as well as the analysis of local work content, which allows for the identification of the most important assets and barriers to development in the eyes of the local community. The summary points to the synergistic effects of external and internal factors on the development of the Kłobuck municipality. It also highlights the key importance of transport accessibility, investment activity, and human and social capital. The results can serve as a basis for formulating a local development strategy based on strengthening the municipality's strengths and minimizing existing limitations.
