Implementation of a solution to support partners of drug addicts

Celem pracy magisterskiej „Wdrożenie rozwiązania wspierającego partnerów osób uzależnionych” było przedstawienie sytuacji osób uzależnionych i rolę ich partnerów w procesie leczenia oraz stworzenie projektu narzędzia, które skupiłoby się na pomocy osobom, których partner jest czynnie uzależniony od narkotyków. Problemem badawczym niniejszej pracy było pytanie: „Jak możemy pomóc partnerom osób uzależnionych?”. W części teoretycznej pracy przybliżono zagadnienia związane z tematem pracy. Zostały zdefiniowane podstawowe pojęcia związane, rozpowszechnienie narkotyków w Polsce, jakie są skutki uzależnienia i jak wygląda profilaktyka uzależnień. Dodatkowo poruszono kwestie związane z sytuacją osób uzależnionych i problemów związanych z podjęciem leczenia uzależnień oraz sytuację partnerów i ich role w tym procesie. Część praktyczna obejmowała zbadanie opinii społeczeństwa za pomocą badania ankietowego oraz wywiadów. Ankieta została przeprowadzona w celu sprawdzenia czy respondenci mają ogólną wiedzę o pomocy uzależnionym oraz czy byliby zainteresowani korzystaniem z narzędzia wspierającego partnerów osób uzależnionych. Wywiady zostały przeprowadzone z psychoterapeutą oraz partnerem osoby uzależnionej, aby zbadać problem na podstawie doświadczeń osób bezpośrednio stykających się z tą problematyką. W pracy przedstawiono również projekt narzędzia wskazanego w temacie pracy oraz plan wdrożenia projektu.

The purpose of the thesis, "Implementing a solution to support the partners of addicts," was to present the situation of addicts and the role of their partners in the treatment process, and to create a draft tool that would focus on helping people whose partner is actively addicted to drugs. The research problem of this paper was the question "How can we help the partners of addicts?". In the theoretical part of the work, the issues related to the topic of the work were introduced. Basic concepts related to, the prevalence of drugs in Poland, what are the effects of addiction and what is the prevention of addiction were defined. In addition, issues related to the situation of addicts and the problems associated with entering addiction treatment were addressed, as well as the situation of partners and their roles in the process. The practical part involved surveying the public's opinions through a survey and interviews. The survey was conducted to see if respondents had general knowledge about helping addicts and if they would be interested in using a tool to support partners of addicts. Interviews were conducted with a psychotherapist and the addict's partner to explore the problem from the inside. The paper also presents the design of the tool included in the topic of the paper and the plan for implementing the project.
