António Lobo Antunes jest jednym z najbardziej znanych pisarzy portugalskich XX wieku. Niniejsza praca licencjacka skupia się na analizie jednej z jego pierwszych powieści – Os Cus de Judas, a konkretnie na dekonstrukcji stworzonego przez autora obrazu wojny kolonialnej w Angoli. António Lobo Antunes spędził kilka lat swojego życia odbywając służbę w armii portugalskiej w Angoli jako lekarz wojskowy, dało mu to możliwość opisania wydarzeń podczas wojny kolonialnej z niepowtarzalnej perspektywy. Praca rozpoczyna się od przedstawienia założeń teorii dekonstrukcji, jak i przywołania życiorysu autora, co jest wyjątkowo istotne, gdyż Os Cus de Judas zawiera w sobie pewne fragmenty autobiograficzne. Praca ta próbuje odpowiedzieć na pytanie: co miał na celu autor przedstawiając wojnę kolonialną w Angoli w ten konkretny sposób.

António Lobo Antunes is one of the best-known Portuguese writers of the 20th century. This undergraduate thesis focuses on the analysis of one of his first novels, Os Cus de Judas, and more specifically on the deconstruction of the image of the colonial war in Angola created by the author. António Lobo Antunes spent several years of his life serving in the Portuguese army in Angola as a military medic, which gave him the opportunity to describe the events during the colonial war from a unique perspective. This paper begins by a short introduction of the theory of deconstruction as well as the author's biography, which is particularly important since Os Cus de Judas contains some autobiographical details from his life. This work attempts to answer the question: what the author had in mind by presenting the colonial war in Angola in this particular way.

António Lobo Antunes é uns dois mais conhecidos escritores portugueses de XX. Este trabalho da licenciatura foca-se na análise de um dos primeiros romances do autor - Os Cus de Judas, especificamente na questão da desconstrução da imagem da guerra colonial em Angola, criada pelo autor. António Lobo Antunes passou vários anos da sua vida servindo na tropa portuguesa em Angola como médico militar, o que lhe deu uma única perspetiva de apresentar os eventos da guerra colonial. O trabalho começa com uma breve introdução da teoria de desconstrução e esboço biográfico do autor. A sua vida é importante no contexto deste romance, sendo Os Cus de Judas uma obra que contém alguns traços autobiográficos. Este trabalho da licenciatura tenta responder à pergunta: qual era o objetivo de autor de mostrar a guerra colonial nesta maneira.
