The Smart City concept and sustainable development management on the example of the city of Krakow. The impact of the Krakow 2030 development strategy on the quality of life of residents

W pracy została poruszona tematyka miasta inteligentnego oraz zrównoważonego rozwijającego się w myśl koncepcji Smart City. Część teoretyczna niniejszej pracy została poświęcona w szczególności zagadnieniom: rozwoju regionalnego i lokalnego, konkurencyjności i innowacyjności regionów, definicji smart city oraz zarządzania strategicznego. Jako że jakość życia mieszkańców jest jednym z głównych punktów odniesienia w procesie tworzenia strategii rozwoju miasta to analiza strategii rozwoju Krakowa dotyczy głownie tego zagadnienia. Ostatnim elementem pracy jest sprawdzenie zależności pomiędzy wpływem rozwoju współczesnej metropolii wykorzystującej nowe, innowacyjne technologie, a jakością życia na przykładzie miasta Kraków.

The work deals with the subject of a smart city and a sustainable city developing in accordance with the Smart City concept. The theoretical part of this work is focusing in particular to the issues of regional and local development, competitiveness and innovation of regions, the definition of a smart city and strategic management. As the quality of life of the inhabitants is one of the main points of reference in the process of creating the city's development strategy, the analysis of the city's development strategy mainly concerns this issue. The last element of the work is to check the relationship between the influence of the development of a modern metropolis using new, innovative technologies and the quality of life on the example of the city of Krakow.
