Autoprezentacja władcy przedstawiona jest w następujących płaszczyznach: Karol IV jako głowa rodziny, spadkobierca Przemyślidów, polityk i dyplomata, opiekun i zarządca państwa, "Boży pomazaniec" oraz władca uczony. Celem pracy jest analiza wizerunku kreowanego przez Karola IV w jego autobiografii.
The scope of the thesis is the image of the ruler in Charles IV Luxembourg's Liber de gestis meis. Charles' autopresentation is analysed in the following aspects: Charles IV as a head of the house, heir of the Přemyslid dynasty, politician and a diplomat, guardian and administrator of the country, God‘s anointed and a ruler-scholar. The aim of this thesis is an analysis of the image created by Charles IV in his autobiography.
