Celem niniejszej pracy jest analiza roli wątków i tematów autobiograficznych w kinie Olivera Stone’a oraz wskazanie wagi analizy dzieła filmowego w kontekście autobiografii twórcy. Rozdział pierwszy prezentuje najistotniejsze elementy procesu analizy oraz interpretacji dzieła filmowego. Rozdział drugi prezentuje analizę filmów Olivera Stone’a jako dzieł autobiograficznych, czerpiących inspirację z osobistych przeżyć autora.
The aim of this thesis is to analyze the role of autobiographical plots and themes in Oliver Stone's cinema and to indicate the importance of analyzing a film work in the context of the author's autobiography.The first chapter presents the most important elements of the analysis and interpretation of a film work. The second chapter presents an analysis of Oliver Stone's films as autobiographical works, inspired by the author's personal experiences.
