Tematem mojej pracy licencjackiej jest stylizacja na bohatera w dramacie „Schlageter”, którego autorem jest Hanns Johst. Utwór ten, opublikowany w 1933 roku, był środkiem szerzenia propagandy w rękach nazisów. W pracy tej starałam się ukazać różne zabiegi zastosowane przez autora, które wpływają na wystylizowanie głównej postaci dramatu na bohatera. Jest to kreacja – w licznych źródłach podkreśla się fakt, iż rzeczywiste wydarzenia i życiorys Schlagetera różnią się na wielu płaszczyznach od przedstawionych przez autora dzieła. W początkowej części mojej pracy wyjaśniłam pojęcia „bohater”, „stylizacja” oraz użytą w tytule pracy „stylizację na bohatera”. W kolejnej części przybliżyłam sylwetkę Schlagetera oraz kult, którym została otoczona jego osoba, ponieważ te elementy miały znaczący wpływ na powstanie dzieła. Główną część pracy stanowi analiza dramatu. Skupiłam się na pokazaniu różnych czynników, które mają wpływ najpierw na zmianę poglądów, a później na dalsze losy bohatera. Wspominam o zmianie przekonań, gdyż Schlageter nie od początku był gotów poświęcić swe życie dla ojczyzny. Takie poświęcenie to jedna z cech, która powinna określać „nowego człowieka”. Pojęciu temu poświęciłam osobny podpunkt w mojej pracy. Ważnym elementem jest również ukazanie bohatera jako części wspólnoty, społeczeństwa, dla którego Schlageter stał się przykładem. Uzupełnienie tematu stanowią informacje na temat recepcji dramatu nie tylko przez publiczność, ale też krytyków teatralnych, którzy w tym przypadku nie zawsze byli przychylni w swoich opiniach. Widzowie z kolei byli głęboko poruszeni. W ostatnim rozdziale umieszczam krótkie podsumowanie, w którym zawarłam obserwacje i konkluzje z całości pracy.

The subject of my thesis is hero creation in the drama “Schlageter” by Hanns Johst. The publication of this work in 1933 was a Nazi propaganda tool. In my work I have tried to show the different methods used by the author, that affect the creation of main character drama as hero. It’s a fictional characterization proven by many sources highlighting the fact, the actual events and biography of Schlageter differs in many ways from that shown by the author of the work. In the initial part of my work I tried to clarify the concept of the words "hero", "style" and used in the title "Creation of a hero". In the next part I present Schlageter and the cult of figure, which surrounded his person, because these elements have a significant influence on the process of the piece formation.The main part of the work is the analysis of the drama, in which I focused on showing the different factors that have an impact first on the change of the views, and later on the fate of the hero. I mention changing beliefs, because at the beginning Schlageter was not willing to sacrifice his life for his country. Such dedication is one of the characteristics that should define the "new man", whom, in my work I dedicated a separate section. It’s also an important thing to show the hero, as part of the community, the society, for which Schlageter has become an example.As a complement of the theme I added information about the drama reception by the audience. Theater critics, were not flattering in assessing the work, unlike the audience, which was deeply moved, after the display of the piece and applauded shouting "The first soldier of the Third Reich."

In der Bachelorarbeit soll das Drama „Schlageter“ von Hanns Johst analysiert werden. Das Werk wurde im Jahr 1933 veröffentlicht und basierte auf der nationalsozialistischen Ideologie. Der Autor präsentiert in seinem Drama Schlageter, der zu einem Helden stilisiert wird. In meiner Arbeit versuche ich, die Aspekte dieser Erscheinung näher zu bringen und das ist das wichtigste Ziel meiner Bachelorarbeit.In der vorliegenden Arbeit werden zuerst die Begriffe „Held“ und „Stilisierung“ erklärt. Außerdem beschreibe ich Schlageter und seinen Kult, weil sie einen großen Einfluss auf die Entstehung des Werkes hatten. In der Analyse des Dramas konzentriere ich mich vor allem auf die Transformation des Helden. Im Zentrum der Transformation stehen die Konzeption des „neuen Menschen“. Ich versuche auch zu erklären, dass der neue Held ein Teil der Volksgemeinschaft ist und welche Rolle er bei der Entstehung der neuen Gesellschaft spielen sollte. Schließlich beschreibe ich im letzten Punkt die Rezeption des Dramas durch das Publikum und die Theaterkritik, also welchen Einfluss das Werk auf die deutsche Gesellschaft hatte. Wegen der begrenzten Zahl der Seiten werde ich nur die wichtigsten Aspekte des Dramas analysieren.
