Literatura non-fiction poświęcona kryzysowi gospodarczemu z 2007 roku niesie za sobą szczególne wyzwania dla tłumaczy, ponieważ łączy ekspresywną narrację dziennikarską ze specjalistyczną terminologią z dziedziny finansów oraz z nawiązaniami kulturowymi. Celem niniejszej pracy jest próba ich sprecyzowania i opisu. W tym celu zostanie przeprowadzona dwustopniowa analiza, opierająca się na znalezieniu ogólnych prawidłowości metodami analizy korpusowej, a następnie ich szczegółowym opisaniu. Wybrane fragmenty zostaną opatrzone przykładowymi tłumaczeniami.
The non-fiction literature dedicated to the financial crisis of 2007 brings several challenges to its translators, as it combines expressive journalistic writing with specialist financial terminology and cultural references. The aim of the thesis is to define and describe them. In order to achieve this, a two-step analysis will be conducted. It will consist of finding general patterns by using corpus analysis, and then describing them in detail. Certain excerpts will be followed by sample translations.
