The image of women in Theodor Storm's novels

W mojej pracy licencjackiej przeanalizowałam zarówno role kobiet w rodzinie jak i miłość i jej wpływ na rodzinę w nowelach Thedora Storma pod tytułem: " Marthe und ihre Uhr", "Viola Tricolor" oraz "Im Saal". Zaprezentowałam również symbolikę występującą w tych utworach. Spróbowałam jak najdokładniej przedstawić znaczenie symboliczne miejsc wspomnień. Warto również wspomnieć, że kobiety w nowelach zostały przedstawione jako kochające, silne ale również zamknięte w sobie. W mojej analizie przedstawiłam również pozycje społeczną kobiet w XIX wieku. W mojej pracy ukazałam także podobieństwa i aspekty, które się różną. Zwróciłam również uwagę na cechy protagonistek i ich uczucia.

In my dissertation I analyzed not only the role of women in the family but also their love and influence on the family in Theodor Storm's novels entitled "Marthe und ihre Uhr", "Viola Tricolor" and "Im Saal". I also presented the symbolism. I tried to explain as exactly as possible the meaning of the places of remembrance. The women were portrayed in the novels as loving, strong but also repressed. In my analysis I also presented the social position of women in the 19th century. It is also worth mentioning that in my work I have tried to show similarities in the novells and also aspects that differ from each other. I focused on the characteristics of the protagonists and their feelings.

In meiner Bachelorarbeit habe ich sowohl die Rolle der Frau in der Familie als auch die Liebe und ihr Einfluss auf die Familie in den Novellen von Theodor Storm unter dem Titel: "Marthe und ihre Uhr", "Viola Tricolor" und "Im Saal" analysiert. Ich habe auch die Symbolik präsentiert. Ich versuchte möglichst exakt darzulegen, welche Bedeutung die Erinnerungsorte haben. Die Frauen wurden in den Novellen als liebevolle, starke aber auch als verdrängte Frauen dargestellt wurden. In meiner Analyse habe ich auch die soziale Position der Frauen im 19. Jahrhundert dargelegt. Es ist auch erwähnenswert, dass ich in meiner Arbeit versucht habe, Gemeinsamkeiten in den Novellen aufzuzeigen und auch Aspekte, die sich voneinander unterscheiden. Ich konzentrierte sich auf die Eigenschaften der Charaktere und ihre Gefühle.
