Uprising in Chochołów in 1846 - the memory and legend

Praca będzie badać rozwój legendy powstania chochołowskiego od lat następujących bezpośrednio po nim, aż do roku obecnego. Na podstawie materiałów źródłowych z poszczególnych lat uzyskamy podgląd, co w określonych latach było istotne dla osób tworzących tę legendę. Na taśmie chronologicznej między rokiem 1846 a rokiem 2013 można byłoby zaznaczyć wiele wydarzeń, wpływających na funkcjonowanie legendy chochołowskiego chłopa walczącego o wolność Ojczyzny. Spośród wielu wyróżniają się z pewnością dwie wojny światowe i udział w nich Podhalan, kluczowe również jest powstanie ruchu ludowego na początku XX wieku, czy też zainteresowanie sprawami chłopskimi przez przedstawicieli Młodej Polski. Postawy powstańców były również wykorzystywane przez późniejsze pokolenia do tzw. wychowania patriotycznego.Praca ma podział chronologiczny na 3 rozdziały. Pierwszy rozdział skupia się na okresie od wybuchu powstania aż do narodzin ruchu ludowego. Drugi traktuje o czasie od powstania ruchu ludowego do końca II wojny światowej. Natomiast ostatni rozdział, obejmuje lata od 100. rocznicy wybuchu powstania aż do obecnego roku. Podział ten został zastosowany ze względu na poważną różnicę między granicznymi wydarzeniami poszczególnych części pracy.

The second is about the time of the creation of the popular movement to the end of World War II. However, the final chapter , covers the period from 100 anniversary of the uprising until the current year. This division was used because of the serious differences between the border events each part of the work .
