Wpływ miedzi na rozwój grzybów izolowanych z roślin z potoku skażonego miedzią (Schwarzwand, Austria).

master
This work was carried out to examine the influence of copper on the development of fungi isolated from Mielichhoferia elongata and Vaccinium myrtillus, growing in a copper contaminated stream, flowing from a copper mine in the Alps. Six isolated strains of fungi (Cu mos I1/3, IVD/2, Xc/1, Fusarium sp., Hymenoscyphus sp., Mortierella alpina) were studied and their copper tolerance was measured.Copper influenced the growth and development of fungi. Changes in morphology were seen both, in macro and microscopic scale and concerned the size, structure, color of the colony, growth rate and the thickness and structure of the hyphae and their walls. The EC50 value (metal concentration that inhibits growth in 50 %) was estimated for each of the strains. Mortierella alpina had the highest copper tolerance among all the strains. The increase in organic acid production was shown in culture supplemented with Cu salts.pl
Niniejsza praca przeprowadzona została w celu zbadania wpływu miedzi na rozwój grzybów wyizolowanych z Mielichhoferia elongata i Vaccinium myrtillus, zebranych z potoku płynącego z kopalni miedzi w Alpach. Zbadano wyizolowane szczepy (Cu mos I1/3, IVD/2, Xc/1, Fusarium sp., Hymenoscyphus sp., Mortierella alpina) i określono tolerancję miedzi.
