Cultural and environmental determinants of child speech development

Praca magisterska pt. "Kulturowe i środowiskowe uwarunkowania rozwoju mowy dziecka" analizuje wpływ tych aspektów na proces nabywania języka przez dzieci. Celem pracy jest zidentyfikowanie i opisanie kluczowych czynników, które wpływają na rozwój mowy dziecka. Praca opiera się na przeglądzie literatury z zakresu pedagogiki oraz logopedii. Badania przeprowadzane były przy użyciu wystandaryzowanego narzędzia, jakim jest Inwentarz Rozwoju Mowy i Komunikacji: SŁOWA I ZDANIA (IRMIK SIZ) autorstwa Magdaleny Smoczyńskiej oraz autorskiej ankiety. Praca składa się z 5 rozdziałów teoretycznych, zawiera analizę kluczowych pojęć w ramach literatury przedmiotu, wnioski z badań oraz implikacje dla praktyki pedagogicznej, które znajdują się w rozdziale 7 tej pracy. Mogą one okazać się przydatne zarówno dla rodziców, jak i nauczycieli w celu podejmowania działań wspierających rozwój dziecka już od najmłodszych lat. Praca ma charakter teoretyczno-praktyczny. Intencją autorki było nie tylko zbadanie przedmiotowego zagadnienia, ale także zainspirowanie możliwych kierunków zmian w praktyce wspierania rozwoju mowy małego dziecka.

The master's thesis entitled "Cultural and environmental determinants of child speech development" analyzes the influence of these aspects on the process of language acquisition by children. The purpose of the thesis is to identify and describe the key factors that influence the development of a child's speech. The work is based on a review of the literature in pedagogy and speech therapy. The research was conducted using a standardized tool, the Speech and Communication Development Inventory: SPEECH AND COMMUNICATION (IRMIK SIZ) by Magdalena Smoczynska and the author's questionnaire. The work consists of 5 theoretical chapters, includes an analysis of key concepts within the literature on the subject, research conclusions and implications for pedagogical practice, which can be found in Chapter 7 of this work. These can prove useful for both parents and teachers to take measures to support child development from an early age. The work is theoretical and practical in nature. The author's intention was not only to study the issue in question, but also to inspire possible directions for changes in the practice of supporting the development of a young child's speech.
