Shoulder pain is an increasingly frequent complaint of modern man. The painful shoulder syndrome is defined by a set of pain symptoms located within the shoulder girdle and covering its structures: shoulder blade, collar bone and shoulder. The complaints occurring in this disease are primarily pain and limitation of joint mobility. Dysfunction of the shoulder limits independence, causes physical and psychological discomfort, leads to a decrease in the quality of life. The described case confirms the importance of accurate diagnosis before treatment and determination of the cause of the disease and how the disorder of only one element can cause pain syndrome of the entire shoulder complex. Physiotherapy in this disease should be based on techniques of manual therapy, extensive kinesitherapy and complementary physical therapy. The proposed physiotherapy has managed to achieve the patient's goals and facilitate her daily functioning.pl
Bóle barku stanowią coraz częstszą dolegliwość współczesnego człowieka. Zespół bolesnego barku określa zbiór objawów bólowych zlokalizowanych w obrębie obręczy barkowej i obejmujące jej struktury: łopatkę, obojczyk i ramię. Dolegliwości występujące w tym schorzeniu to przede wszystkim ból i ograniczenie ruchomości stawu. Dysfunkcje barku ograniczają samodzielność, wywołują dyskomfort fizyczny i psychiczny, doprowadzają do obniżenia jakości życia.
