Niniejsza praca magisterska została poświęcona tematowi „Grundformen der Angst” autorstwa F. Riemanna i „Oblicza lęku” w przekładzie U. Poprawskiej – próba analizy tłumaczenia. Podstawę mojej pracy stanowi książka z zakresu psychologii osobowości, której autorem jest psycholog i psychoanalityk, współzałożyciel Akademii Psychoanalizy i Psychoterapii w Monachium. Moja praca składa się z części teoretycznej oraz praktycznej. W części teoretycznej przedstawiłam psychologię jako naukę, opisałam także tematykę ekwiwalencji oraz problemów związanych z przekładem. Przedmiotem analizy w drugiej części mojej pracy jest rozdział książki dotyczący osobowości depresyjnych. Dlatego w części teoretycznej poświęcam uwagę tematyce osobowości i depresji. Przedstawiłam także informacje o samym autorze i wyjaśniłam podstawową terminologię, aby przybliżyć tło teoretyczne podejścia, na jakim bazuje autor. Na podstawie tych informacji, wysunęłam hipotezę, że psychologia jest dziedziną nauki tak wszechstronną i rozbudowaną, iż bardzo trudno zamknąć ją w ramach jednej oddzielnej dyscypliny naukowej. Jednocześnie ciężko stwierdzić jakiego rodzaju terminologią posługuje się psychologia, popularnonaukową czy tez specjalistyczną. Jedyne, co można powiedzieć na ten temat z pewnością, to fakt, że zależy to od tematyki danego tłumaczenia i gałęzi psychologii. W części praktycznej natomiast przedstawiłam kilka fragmentów książki i dokonałam próby analizy pod względem zastosowania odpowiednich ekwiwalentów. Na podstawie tych rozważań stwierdzam, że do tłumaczenia tego typu literatury wiedza psychologiczna jest bardzo przydatna. Należy podkreślić, że psychologia jest dość nową dziedziną nauki, która dotyczy wnętrza człowieka i w tym wypadku precyzja i dokładność w tłumaczeniu zagadnień jest niezbędna. Mam nadzieję, że udało mi się przedstawić temat nie tylko w sposób logiczny, ale przede wszystkim interesujący. Chciałabym, aby ta praca przyczyniła się do zaakcentowania psychologii jako wyjątkowej dziedziny nauki i jednocześnie zwróciła uwagę na trudności w tłumaczeniu z zakresu tej dyscypliny.

This thesis was devoted to the theme "Grundformen der Angst" by F. Riemann and "Oblicza lęku" in the translation U. Poprawska - an attempt to analyze the translation. The basis of my work is a book on the psychology of personality, whose author is a psychologist and psychoanalyst, founder of the Academy of Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy in Munich.My thesis consists of theoretical and practical parts. In the theoretical part I presented psychology as a science, I described the subject of equivalence and translation problems. In the second part I analyze chapter of the book on the depressive personality. Therefore, the theoretical devote attention to issues of personality and depression. I presented the information about the author and explained basic terminology to introduce the theoretical background approach. I put forward the hypothesis that psychology is a field of study so comprehensive and extensive that it is very difficult to close it within a separate scientific discipline. At the same time hard to tell what kind of terminology used by psychology, popular science or specialized. The only thing I can say with certainty is that, it depends on the subject of translation and branches of psychology. In the practical part I presented several fragments of the book and made a attempt to analyze in terms of appropriate equivalents. I conclude, on the basis of these considerations, that the translation of such literature -psychological knowledge is very useful. It should be noted that psychology is a relatively new field of science which deals with the inner man, and in this case, precision and accuracy in the translation issues is essential. I hope I was able to present the subject in a logical and interesting way. I wish that this work has helped to highlight the unique psychology as a science and at the same time pointed out the difficulties in translating from the scope of the discipline.

Die vorliegende Magisterarbeit wurde dem Thema„Grundformen der Angst“ von F. Riemann und „Oblicza lęku“ in der Übertragung von U. Poprawska – Versuch einer Übersetzungsanalyse gewidmet. Als Grundlage für diese Arbeit hat ein Buch aus dem Bereich der Persönlichkeitspsychologie gedient. Der Autor war ein Psychologe und Psychoanalytiker, Mitbegründer der Akademie für Psychoanalyse und Psychotherapie in München. Meine Arbeit besteht aus dem theoretischen und praktischen Teil. Im ersten Teil habe ich Psychologie als Wissenschaft dargestellt. Ich habe auch Thematik der Äquivalenz und der Problemen bei der Übersetzung umschrieben. Die Übersetzungsanalyse im zweiten Teil betrifft das Kapitel, das die depressiven Persönlichkeiten umfasst. Deshalb habe ich im theoretischen Teil große Aufmerksamkeit auf die Themen der Persönlichkeit und Depression gelenkt. Ich habe auch die Informationen über den Autor dargestellt und ich habe die Grundbegriffe seiner Perspektive erklärt. Auf Grund dieser Informationen habe ich eine Hypothese aufgestellt, dass Psychologie eine mehrdimensionale Disziplin ist und es ist sehr schwer sie als eine ganz separate Wissenschaft zu betrachten. Zugleich ist es nicht eindeutig, was für eine Terminologie die Psychologie benutzt – populärwissenschaftlich oder eine Fachsprache. Das Einzige, was man feststellen kann, ist die Tatsache, dass der Art der Terminologie vom Typ der Übersetzung und dem Bereich der Psychologie abhängig ist. Im zweiten Teil habe ich einzige Beispiele vorgebracht und ich habe versucht, eine Übersetzungsanalyse unter Aspekt von der Verwendung der Äquivalente zu machen. Auf Grund dieser Betrachtungen habe ich festgestellt, dass die psychologischen Kenntnisse in der Übersetzung hilfreich sind. Man soll betonen, dass Psychologie ziemlich neue Wissenschaft ist. Sie betrifft das Innere des Menschen und in diesem Fall ist die Präzision und Genauigkeit in der Übersetzung notwendig. Meine Absicht war, das Thema logisch und klar aber vor allem interessant darzustellen. Ich hoffe darauf, dass diese Arbeit zur Bestimmung der Psychologie als eine besondere Wissenschaft beiträgt und die Schwierigkeiten bei der Übersetzung aus diesem Bereich betont.
