Women’s charachters in Roman Załuski’s comedies from 1980’s and 1990’s

Tematem pracy są wizerunki postaci kobiecych w komediach Romana Załuskiego: "Kogel-mogel", "Galimatias, czyli kogel-mogel 2", "Och, Karol", "Wyjście awaryjne" oraz "Komedia małżeńska". Analiza obecnych w komediach genderowych stereotypów oparta została na tekstach teoretycznych z zakresu gender studies oraz krytyki feministycznej i uwzględnia przemiany, jakie zaszły w odbiorze filmów na przestrzeni lat od ich premiery. Celem pracy jest namysł nad tym czy analizowane komedie przełamywały genderowe stereotypy, czy też doprowadziły do ich utrwalenia w kulturze i świadomości odbiorców.

The topic of the thesis are women's characters in Roman Załuski's comedies: "Kogel-Mogel", "Galimatias, czyli kogel-mogel 2", "Och, Karol", "Wyjście awaryjne" and "Komedia małżeńska". The analysis of the gender stereotypes of these comedies is based on theoritical texts of the realm of gender studies and feminist criticism. The thesis has regards to changes in perception of these films over the years after their releases. The purpose of this dissertation is consideration whether analysed comedies were breaking the gender stereotypes or have they strenghtened them in culture and viewer's awareness.
