Celem niniejszej pracy jest wykazanie, jak Diane Keaton i role, w jakie się wcielała w filmach Woody’ego Allena z lat 70., odzwierciedlają przemiany tej dekady, i jak aktorka wpisuje się w nowe myślenie o kobiecości. By zrobić wprowadzenie do zagadnienia, przedstawiono biografię Diane Keaton, skupiając się na karierze z lat 70. Następnie opisano zjawisko drugiej fali feminizmu i sytuacji kobiet w omawianej dekadzie, odwołując się do lektur z dziedziny feminizmu, w tym do jednej z najważniejszych prac poświęconej tej tematyce - „Mistyki kobiecości” Betty Friedan. Ukazano, jak zmieniła się kondycja kobiet, porównując role Doris Day z filmu Normana Jewisona „A to historia” z filmem Woody’ego Allena, „Annie Hall”. Skupiając się również na innych filmach Allena („Manhattan”, „Wnętrza”), przedstawiono portrety psychologiczne trzech kobiet, a także uwzględniono ich relacje społeczne, w jakich uczestniczą. Dokonując tej analizy odwołano się do lektur z zakresu psychologii oraz socjologii. Przeprowadzone analizy wykazały, że zarówno osobiste życie Diane Keaton, jak i podejmowane przez aktorkę role, wpisują się w nowe myślenie o kobiecości, tym samym odzwierciedlając zmiany, które zaszły w latach 70.

The aim of this thesis is to show how Diane Keaton and the roles she played in Woody Allen’s films from the 70s. reflect changes of that decade, and how the actress fits into the new way of thinking about femininity. In the introduction to the issue, the biography of Diane Keaton is presented, focusing on her career in the 1970s. Then the phenomenon of the second wave feminism and the situation of women in discussed decade are described, referring to the publications in the field of feminism, including one of the most significant works devoted to this subject - „The Feminine Mystique” Betty Friedan. The change in how the condition of women has changed is shown by comparing Doris Day’s role in Norman Jewison’s film „The Thrill of It All" with Woody Allen's film "Annie Hall.” Focusing also on other Allen's films ("Manhattan", "Interiors"), the psychological portraits of three women are presented, as well as social relations they participate in. In the making of this analysis publications in the field of psychology and sociology were referenced.Conducted analysis demonstrates that both Diane Keaton's personal life and the roles taken by the actress fit into the modern view of femininity, thus reflects changes that took place in the 1970s.
