The particles -wa and -ga and the process of their acquisition from the point of view of their fundamental nature in the Japanese language teaching.

The thesis deals with the problem of topic- comment structure of the Japanese sentence, with the special attention paid to the pair of particles '-wa' and '-ga' and their role in marking of the sentence topic and comment.They are five basic sugested functions of '-wa' and '-ga' according to Susumu Kuno's interpretation and these functions together with various descriptions by other authors, like Noda Hisashi and Mikami Akira are being discussed. Various uses of '-wa' and '-ga' are illustrated with sentence examples taken from various sources.

本論文は、日本語教育におけるハとガの習得過程を捉えており、外国語としての日本語文法の教授法の見地から見た様々な解釈や記述を参考にしたものである。日本語学における主題の標識の役割を果たしているハとガの助詞の分析は多くの学者によって分析されてきたが、その主な機能は5つ程に分けられている。すなわち、主題、対象、目的語、主語などの機能が久野暲や三上章、野田尚史などによって、それぞれの解釈が本論文において詳しく紹介されている。ハとガの用例に基づいた実際の使い方の問題も取り上げられている。
