Place of health education in shaping pro-health attitudes in preschool children.

Przedmiotem mojej pracy naukowej jest określenie miejsca edukacji zdrowotnej w kształtowaniu postaw prozdrowotnych dzieci w wieku przedszkolnym. Swoimi badaniami objęłam realizację edukacji zdrowotnej w trzech wybranych przedszkolach oraz sprawdziłam jakie postawy prozdrowotne przejawiają dzieci do nich uczęszczające. Do tego celu wykorzystałam następujące metody: obserwację, sondaż diagnostyczny oraz analizę dokumentów. Praca została podzielona na trzy rozdziały. W pierwszym rozdziale w teoretyczny sposób zostały przedstawione ogólne zagadnienia z zakresu edukacji zdrowotnej, charakterystyka edukacji zdrowotnej w przedszkolu oraz pojęcie postawy. Drugi rozdział to metodologia badań własnych. Zawiera organizację i plan przebiegu prowadzonych badań. Znajdują się w nim: postawione problemy badawcze, wyłonione zmienne i wskaźniki, opis metod, technik i narzędzi badawczych oraz charakterystyka środowiska i gruby badanej. Ostatni rozdział stanowi opracowanie wyników przeprowadzonych badań oraz wnioski i rekomendacje w zakresie kształtowania postaw prozdrowotnych u dzieci w wieku przedszkolnym za pomocą edukacji zdrowotnej.

The subject of my thesis is to determine the position of health education in creating pro-health attitudes in preschool children. My research included the implementation of health education in three selected kindergartens and I checked which pro-health attitudes the attending children exhibited. I used the following methods to do that: observation, diagnostic survey and analysis of documents. My thesis is divided into three chapters. In the first one general issues of health education, characteristics of health education in preschool care and the definition of an attitude are introduced in theory. The second chapter contains the methodology of my research. It consists of: posed research problems, emerged variables and indicators, description of methods, techniques and research tools, as well as characteristics of the environment and the tested group. The last chapter is a summary of research results and conclusions and recommendations in shaping pro-health attitudes in children of preschool age through health education.
