Praca została poświęcona twórczości "Kabaretu Starszych Panów", zwłaszcza zaś poruszanemu przez nich niezwykle często tematowi śmierci. Jej celem jest udowodnienie, iż nawet tak nieśmieszny motyw może bawić, nie wywołując negatywnych, smutnych skojarzeń i nie obrażając uczuć odbiorców. Praca udowadnia, że twórczość kabaretowa "Starszych Panów" to forma liryki popularnej, zaś sami twórcy w sposób mistrzowski operują grami językowymi i groteską.W pracy wykorzystano bogatą literaturę dotyczącą twórczości Pana B. oraz "Kabaretu Starszych Panów", opracowania oraz artykuły z zakresu teorii humoru, satyry i śmiechu, a także teksty wspomnieniowe innych satyryków.

The thesis were dedicated to the works of "The Old Men Cabaret", especially the topic of death which was present in their texts. The aim of the thesis is to prove that even so unfunny theme can make laugh without creating negative associations and sad feelings, and without offending the audience. The thesis prove that "The Old Men Cabaret" texts are a form of a popular lyric and the creators are champions in linguistic games and grotesque language.The study was based on extensive literature devoted to the work of the "Lord B." and "The Old Men" Cabaret, scripts and articles connected with the theory of humour, satire and laugh, as well as the texts of other comedians memoirs.
