Mass democracy and the mass character of the democracy

Celem niniejszej pracy było przedstawienie ustroju demokratycznego rozwijającego się w kierunku demokracji masowej. Poruszony został temat społeczeństwa masowego oraz narastającej globalizacji. Autor opisuje mocne oraz słabe strony takiego kształtowania się więzi między narodami oraz problemy, jakie niesie ono dla jednostki. Praca zawiera także rozważania autora na temat tego reżimu. Przestawione zostały problemy demokracji oraz niebezpieczeństwa, z jakimi może się ona zmierzyć w obrębie jednego państwa, ale także i na polu międzynarodowym.

The overriding purpose of this study was to present the democracy which is currently transforming and evolving into a mass democracy. At present the world is becoming a ‘global village’ creating effortless ways to communicate between people and cultures. This topic is very accurate and interesting, this is why a subject of mass society and escalating globalization was raised in this study. The author describes virtues and shortcomings of that particular pathway of binding in which nations are finding themselves at. To conclude there will be a deliberation of this system and the hazards that it brings to the individual but also to a nation as a unity.
