Niniejsza praca podejmuje temat zarządzania instytucjami tańca w Krakowie, a jej głównym celem jest zbadanie wpływu kultury popularnej na funkcjonowanie tychże instytucji. W pracy opisane zostały zjawiska, które zdaniem autorki w największym stopniu przyczyniły się do wzrostu popularności tańca w ostatnich latach. Szczególny nacisk położono na wskazanie zależności pomiędzy medialnymi produkcjami o tańcu a modelami zarządzania współczesnymi szkołami tańca.
This thesis takes on the management of dance institutions in Cracow and it’s main purpose is to investigate the influence of popular culture on functioning of these institutions. The study described the phenomenon, which, according to the author of this thesis, caused significant increase of dance popularity in recent years. Particular emphasis is given to indicate the relationship between media productions and management models of contemporary dance schools.
