W niniejszym artykule omówione zostały relacje miast Księstwa Legnickiego z książętami - Fryderykiem II, Fryderykiem III, Henrykiem XI oraz Fryderykiem IV. Opisano, jak kształtowały się relacje mieszczan z książętami na niwie stosunków ekonomicznych, dworskich i społecznych. Opracowanie zostało oparte na bazie bogatego zespołu źródeł opisujących Księstwo Legnickie w drugiej połowie XVI wieku.

This article discusses the relations of the cities of the Legnica principality with the princes - Frederick II, Frederick III, Henry XI and Frederick IV. What were the relations between the townspeople and the princes in the field of economic, court and social relations? It was developed on the basis of a rich set of sources describing the Duchy of Legnica in the second half of the 16th century.
