Diaristic strategies in Agnieszka Osiecka’s 'Diaries' from 1945-1952

Przedmiotem pracy jest analiza Dzienników Agnieszki Osieckiej obejmujących lata 1945-1952. W pierwszym rozdziale autorka charakteryzuje wyznaczniki dziennika jako gatunku literackiego, a także opisuje funkcje dziennika osobistego. Ponadto skupia się na funkcji, jaką pełni pisanie oraz omawia strategie pisarskie przyjmowane przez twórców. W drugim rozdziale przedstawia strategie diarystyczne w Dziennikach Agnieszki Osieckiej oraz zwraca uwagę na rozwijający się sposób pisania autorki. Pokazuje, jakie znaczenie miało dla młodej diarystki prowadzenie zapisów, a także analizuje zagadnienia związane z dziewczyńskością. Charakteryzuje formę dziennika oraz jego strukturę. The subject of the following thesis is the analysis of Agnieszka Osiecka's ‘Diaries’, which covers the period 1945 to 1952. In the first chapter, the author characterizes the determinants of the diary as a literary genre, and describes the functions of a personal diary. In addition, she focuses on the function of writing and discusses the writing strategies adopted by the writers. In the second chapter, the author of the thesis presents diaristic strategies in Agnieszka Osiecka's ‘Diaries’ and highlights the author's evolving writing style. It shows what the importance of keeping records was for the young diarist, and analyzes issues related to girlhood. It characterizes the form of the diary and its structure. It shows how the diarist's views were formed and how it affected her growing up. In the third chapter of the work, she shows the realities of a young girl's life. She focuses on her relations with peers and parents and takes up considerations of the family.
